There is always one minifig in each series that when I look at it I automatically think my kids shouldn’t be playing with that. It should be on a shelf or diorama somewhere. This one is up there with the Roman soldier from a few series ago.

Everything from the colours to the decals are just perfect. If I had to have one complaint then the worst thing I could come up with is I wish the sword was a different colour. Shinier to mach the armour.
Feel Guide
I’ve mentioned the sword before being easy to find and ID but if I’m being honest you’ll find the breastplate within seconds. It’s very similar to the Footballer’s armour as it’s shape is almost identical. It can be slightly tricky to judge the size of the shoulder pads to differentiate them but thankfully the Conquistador has that small ‘v’ shape at the front which is very easy to find through the packet.
As with the Olympic minifigs I thought about producing a dot/bump code guide for this series. In all honesty though after sitting staring at the packets in my house for a good twenty minutes I just can’t read them well enough. The robot packets I have for example all have the same lot codes but completely different dots. They are probably exactly the same but just too faint to read properly and if I’m being completely honest if you can get close enough and have the time to look for the dots you’ll have a far better success rate with the feel guide and spend less time on it as well.
